Ramesh Thakur named
Senior Vice-Rector

UN University Rector Hans van Ginkel has announced the appointment of Prof. Ramesh Thakur (left) as Senior Vice-Rector at the Assistant Secretary-General level.
The Rector also announced that Dr. Jean-Marc Coicaud (right) will be acting head of the UNU Office at the United Nations in New York for the next six months.
Coicaud has been senior academic officer in the Peace and Governance Programme at UNU in Tokyo since 1996.
