UNU to co-host forum UNU Rector Hans van Ginkel will be one of the featured speakers at a special event September 22 during the XII World Forestry Congress in Quebec City. The World Forests, Society and Environment (WFSE) Forum will present research results and launch an executive summary of the three books produced by the WFSE project, a joint programme investigating the interrelationships between forests, society and environment in support of sustainable development and human well-being. The forum is co-organized by UNU, Finnish Forest Research Institute, European Forest Institute, and International Union of Forest Research Organizations.
