Leadership Academy preparing Staff at UNU Leadership Academy (UNU/LA) are preparing for an end-of-year move to their new permanent building (pictured above), now under construction in Amman, Jordan. The building, located on the University of Jordan campus between two rows of pine trees, will have some 3,500 square metres of floor space throughout three storeys and a basement. The ground floor will include a conference hall, theatre, audio-visual room, library and exhibition foyer. The board room, research rooms and cafeteria will be on the first floor with office space on the second and third floors. Excavation for the foundations began in December 2001 and the building is expected to be ready for occupation late this year or early in 2003. |
