Climate Affairs Program to hold workshop in Malaysia The Climate Affairs Program, a joint venture between U.N. University, the U.S. National Center for Atmospheric Research and University of Malaysia, will hold its first training workshop for the south and southeast Asia region in February. The workshop will comprise five days of introductory lectures and interactive sessions to provide hands-on experience with various aspects of climate affairs. The event will run from February 25 to March at the University of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. For more information, contact Zafar Adeel. Macau workshop on Environmental Assessment Modeling The Forum for Globally-Integrated Environmental Assessment Modeling, a joint project of the U.N. University Environment and Sustainable Development Programme, UNU Institute of Advanced Studies (UNU/IAS) and the National Institute of Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) of the Netherlands, is holding a two-day workshop in Macau December 13-14. The main objective of the workshop will be to arrive at a consensus for future approaches to model integration and an outline of a project to implement those approaches.
