Vacancies for interns at UNU/INCORE The Research Unit of UNU/INCORE is looking for
interns with good computer skills to work on conflict and conflict
resolution with particular attention to the concerns of the United Nations
and the developing world. Details are available at http://www.incore.ulst.ac.uk/news/employ/ Applications invited for Akino Memorial Intership Japanese university graduates undertaking an internship in any UN system organization outside Japan have been invited to apply for financial support in the form of a UNU-Akino Memorial Internship. The internships are part of the
Akino Memorial Research Project, initiated in 1999 when United Nations
University (UNU) received a ¥100 million donation from the Government of
Japan in memory of Dr. Yutaka Akino, who was killed in July 1998 while on
active service with the United Nations Mission of Observers in Tajikistan. Each UNU-Akino Memorial Internship will cover travel and
insurance costs and provide support for living expenses for a maximum of
