NEW TITLES FROM UNU PRESS States, Markets and
Just Growth: This book explores the common concerns of developing countries in the quest for just growth, while also emphasizing special regional needs. The opening chapters summarize the pressing shared imperatives of globalization, democracy, poverty, and inequality while the chapters that follow analyze the record of different regions and countries in achieving just growth. Each author addresses four specific issues:

the proposition that well organized states that
systematically incorporate popular concerns will continue to be
fundamental to the pursuit of just growth in the new century. The book is edited by Atul Kohli, Professor of Politics and International Affairs at Princeton University, Chung-in Moon, Dean of the Graduate School of International Studies and Professor of the Political Science Department at Yonsei University, Seoul, and Georg Sørensen, Professor of International Politics and Economics at the University of Aarhus, Denmark.
