IIST academic wins
China's Ministry of Science and Technology has awarded one its most important prizes to the Senior Research Fellow at UNU-International Institute for Software Technology, Prof. He Jifeng, for his work on design calculus for safety-critical systems. Prof. He received the country's National Natural Science Prize at an award ceremony in Beijing February 28 hosted by the the Chief Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, Hu Jintao. President Jiang Zemin, Prime Minister Zhu Rongji and many other senior government officials attended the event. |
