Project: Conflict Data Service (CDS)

The CDS provides comprehensive and user-friendly access to up-to-date quality information in the areas of ethnic conflict and conflict resolution. Its targeted audience includes: policy makers, especially in the UN system and in the UN peacemaking and peace-keeping community; mediation practitioners in conflict areas; academics working in countries experiencing ethnic conflict, especially developing countries; and the media. The extensive material already available at the site will be maintained and up-dated as necessary. The CDS is well known and widely used and is thus a substantial contribution to research and policy analysis.
