Kiyoshi Ueno   Programme Adviser   Having long career in Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Mr. Ueno has published books on e-waste and recycling of electric appliances. He also serves a visiting professor at Kanazawa Institute of Technology and lecturer at the University of Tokyo Graduate School. Mr. Ueno has been actively involved in UNU Summer School for Bird's-eye View Experts on Environment since its inception in 2004, and gave lectures on environmental issues based on his rich experience including Manager of External Relations Division: Living Environment and Digital Media Equipment Group of the company. As Programme Adviser, he will assist the ESD Programme in project implementation, in particular in the area of "E-waste problems in Japan" and the UNU Summer School for Bird's-eye View Experts on Environment 2007.
