Dr. Kenichi Sakamoto
 

Project Adviser
 

Kenichi Sakamoto is currently ZEF Project Advisor of the Environment and Sustainable Development Progarmme, at the United Nations University Centre in Tokyo. He joined UNU in 1995 and works at Zero Emissions Research Initiative Project (ZERI) as Scientific Advisor, after 2002, at UNU/ZEF as Project Advisor. His main works are the academic study and dissemination of ZERI domestically and internationally.

In order to promote dissemination of Zero Emissionsf spirit theoretically and practically, he serves as member of research and study committees for sustainable development and recycling-oriented society in public organizations such as central and local governments and academic institutions. Also, his opinion and theory on these issues are printed National Recycling Annual Reports and public journals.
