RESEARCH INTERESTS Chemistry of the Medicinal Plants of Swaziland and their use in the traditional system of medicine. A study of the beliefs on which traditional medicine is based. In collaboration with colleagues in Ethiopia, Zambia and the United States, cultivation of the plant phytolacca dodecandra (Endod) and testing its potential as a molluscicide in the control of bilharzia in Swaziland has been undertaken.
