United Nations Documents at the UNU Library

The UN Documentation Service, a joint initiative of both the United Nations Information Centre Tokyo and the UNU Library, was set up in April 2002 in the UNU Library. It continues to provide various documentation and information services to the public.

The unified collection of UN documents including General Assembly, Security Council and ECOSOC official documents since 1946 are accessible at the UN Documentation Service area. Other selected UN Documents are filed on the third and fourth floors of the UN Documents Rooms. All of them are filed according to the UN document symbols. For UN document symbols, please refer to the UN Documentation Research Guide prepared by the UN Dag Hammarskjold Library accessible at http://www.un.org/Depts/dhl/resguide/symbol.htm. If you do not have document symbols of required documents, the following tools are provided.
