UNU Project "Technology
Transfer, Transformation and Development: The Japanese Experience"国 連大学「技術の移転・変容・開発－日本の経験」 
UNU Project "Technology Transfer, Transformation and Development: The
Japanese Experience" was carried out from 1978 to 1982. Its objective
was to contribute to an understanding of the process of technological
development in Japan as a case study. The project enquired into the
infrastructure of technology, human resources development, and social
and economic conditions and analysed the problems of technology
transfer, transformation, and development from the time of the Meiji
Restoration to the present. The research was undertaken by the Institute of Developing Economies, more than 120 Japanese specialists
carried out and
covered a wide range of subjects, including iron and steel, industry,
the female labour force, education, and technology policy.
The project produced working papers, 86 in Japanese and 42 in English, monograph series, 10 in Japanese and 7 in English publications. All the publications were digitized by the Institute of Developing Economies, Japan External Trade Organization in 2007 and they have been made accessible through the institution's Digital Archives Web site. 国連大学「技術の移転・変容・開発－日本の'経験」 プロジェクトは1978年から1982年に亘り実施された。プロジェクトは、人間と社会の開発にとって有効で有意義な技術を探求するもので、日本の経験を ケース・スタディとして取り上げた。技術開発、人的資源開発、社会および経済状況と技術移転に関わる問題分析、明治維新から現在に至るまでの開発について の調査研究を実施した。調査研究はアジア経済研究所に委嘱され、120人以上の日本人専門家により、鉄鋼業、工業、女子労働、教育、技術政策を含む幅広い 分野において実施された。 プロジェクトの成果はワーキング・ペーパーとして86点の日本語、42点の英語、単行書シリーズとして10点の日本語、７点の英語出版物等として発行さ れた。全ての出版物はアジア経済研究所によって2007年に電子化され、研究所のデジタル・アーカイブスWEBサイトを介し て公開されている。 |
