UNU International Training on POPs Analysis in Squid
Hadano, Japan (Closed event), sponsored and co-hosted by and Shimadzu Co.
The UNU Project, Environmental Monitoring and Governance in the Asian Coastal
Hydrosphere, hosts a UNU training annually to keep our project partners
to be well equipped with good analytical skills of project monitoring targets.
The fourth phase of this project [2005-2008] has focused on the POPs analysis
in aquatic organisms. Squid has been chosen as this year's sample. Prof.
Yuzuru Ikeda (Universiry of the Ryukyus) kindly gave us a brief introduction
of squid's ecological behaviors.
